Johnson House
Built in the late 1800s, the Johnson House is an important part of the history of Central City. Having seen many residents of local fame, the home was beginning to show its age and ready for a modern transformation. ASID Colorado partnered with the Central City opera to provide a facelift which turned into deep overhaul. With a community of designers’ labor and expertise, the Johnson house was brought into the 21st Century. We thoughtfully transformed the main level bedroom into a more functional sitting room. Modern colors and styling reflect current design aesthetic and paired with renewed Victorian furnishings to respect the homes traditional roots.
